Wild life in the concrete jungle

Fueled by adventure, curiosity & mischief
hey there

From the vast wilderness of the Pacific Northwest to the density of New York City, my environment has changed, but my connection to nature hasn't.  After moving to the city twenty years ago, I traded hunting and fishing gear for a camera lens.

Photography became a reason to slow down, a practice born from strolling through Central Park and genuine curiosity about urban wildlife.  My images are the result of patience rather than pursuit, focusing on the quiet beauty of being present.

Spotting an animal in the wild is only the beginning. You must earn your place in their world without disturbing it. observe and Learn the land. Only then can you witness nature as it's meant to be seen.
